Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters by Natalie Standiford

The Sullivan family is in for a surprise. When they are celebrating Christmas Almighty Lou drops a bomb. She doesn’t have much time to live and someone in the family has deeply offended her. Unless they step forward and confess, they will lose their inheritance!

It is decided by everyone that the three sisters, Norrie, Jane and Sassy are the most likely culprits and they should be the one’s to write the confessions. Let the confessions begin.

Personal Thoughts:

The Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters was a nice fluffy book in my opinion. It was a nice quick read but there wasn’t a deep enough storyline. It was like I was a fly on the wall but just when things were getting interesting we would switch to the next sister and her confession. I loved the way that the book was split between the three sisters and their confessions. It was unique to see each point of view based on the same events, but I wanted more. The first confession part with Norrie was my favorite out of the three. It seemed to flow a lot better than the other two. If the first two parts were a bit longer and more detailed than they were, maybe involving more events, it would be more enjoyable and memorable. Don’t get me wrong, this was an entertaining read, but there could have been more of a storyline to make it more memorable. The confession that I was expecting and the real confession surprised me because it was not what I was expecting.
